Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Operations Analyst!

Pay Rate: $17.50 – $19.50 per hour
The Security Operations Centre (SOC) is the nerve center of our security program. As a Security Operations Analyst, you will ensure smooth and reliable operations by monitoring systems, responding to alarms, and coordinating emergency actions. This role requires precision, quick thinking, and strong communication skills to protect people, assets, and critical infrastructure.
SOC Operators are the backbone of security operations, integrating technology, procedures, and human response to deliver effective security outcomes.
Responsibilities- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems 24/7 and respond to alerts in real time
- Dispatch officers and coordinate responses for site-specific programs
- Document incidents thoroughly and escalate when required
- Manage emergency situations, including fleet-related events, and liaise with First Responders
- Perform daily system checks to ensure operational readiness
- Work closely with cross-trained officers and internal teams to maintain seamless operations
- Act as an extension of Paladin Security and the client’s team by using appropriate greetings when answering calls
- Follow workflows and procedures established by Paladin Management and clients
- Communicate via radio and phone to expedite assistance when required
- Prioritize work, pass critical information, and ensure deadlines and procedures are met
- Assess situations quickly to determine emergency vs. non-emergency responses and escalate accordingly
- Ensure each call is handled with the highest level of customer service
- Accurately log, track, and close incidents once resolution is verified
- Prepare reports, communicate with client employees, and forward investigations as needed
- Perform other duties as requested to support Paladin operations
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM with no errors
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and applications
- Calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
Requirements
Must Have:
- Live in Regina, Saskatchewan
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to obtain a valid Saskatchewan Security License
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- 1+ years of prior experience in a call centre or operations centre
